One of the small joys of having kids, at least for me, is finding these little bits of stuff tucked around the house. The kids are crafty and make use of all kinds of things. We have dolls of yarn, brooms of toothpick and twine, play-doh horses, and the ever-popular pipe-cleaner people, some even on the stunt swings of the trapeze artist. These faces are almond shells, scavenged from our Christmas 2.0 party, Saturday evening. To my left as I type this, a six-stall stable, made from a cardboard box, with green pipe-cleaners for hinges on the doors to keep the horses in their stalls. The names of the horses are written on cardboard doors: Freedom, Midnight Sky, Maria, Blaze, Rebel, and Warrior. Each stall has a tiny, beaded necklace for the horse, no bigger around than a pencil. Here's one more. "Caution, 2 layers cardboard." Tags: kids on technorati, delicious, flickr, northerncrown Context: [Google Search] [Geolocation]
