Rudolph [seasons]
The Pine Blogger notes the debut of Lufkin's Rudolph on YouTube. Kudos to Lufkin Industries for setting this thing up year after year. It really added to the holiday season in the Lufkin of my youth. The LDN mentions it:

Rudolph is a fully functional pumping unit produced by Lufkin Industries every year to simultaneously brighten up the season and honor the area's roots in oil production. His antlers are 7 feet long but reach much greater heights while pumping.

"When we crank up Rudolph and his head starts to bob up and down, those antlers will reach 45 feet in the air," said the master of ceremonies before the lighting. "He's a big boy."

I've made previous mention here of Rudolph.
