Starting down a new path, reading an author whose work I've never read. It looks to be of similar scope to Stephen R. Donaldson's Gap Cycle (one of my favorite series), but hopefully without some of Donaldson's more vile tendencies.

I'm also eagerly awaiting our Spring Break beach jaunt.
