I happened on this little guy on the way home from work today, just on the corner of Old Carolina and Mountain Road. He was hanging out in the road, examining something wretched and smelly in the road. I was able to get three shots off with the camera.

I'm still not sure why turtles like this live on top of our mountain. Don't they want water? Apparently not, they're terrestrial.

I love sunsets, especially with some well-placed clouds. I started to crop this one down, but the expanse of blue sky really makes it.
